About Help Around The House
My name is Carol Eckert. I worked in the corporate world for 20 years and now I'm striking out
on my own doing what I love to do. Even when I was sitting behind a desk, I could never look at
something and not say to myself, how can I fix that, how can I make that work better, or clean
that up to be more efficient.
After leaving the desk behind I did something I always wanted to do, I purchased an investment
property and rebuilt it completely. I worked on the project for a little over a year, with my sister
as my business partner, my husband as my main go to guy and my father as the stair and rail
guy. My husband is in the field of construction, and my Dad was a Carpenter for longer than I've
been alive, so you see I've had some good training over the years. This was an incredible way
for me to break away from what I had been doing for the last 20 years and completely
submerge myself in all the things I love to do...seeing the potential, making a plan, working it
through and seeing the results.
There's no better satisfaction than stepping back after you've finished a job and saying "hey I
did that, and it looks great"
That's basically what I'm all about, and what this company is about. I'll work with you to tackle
that job you haven't been able to get off the ground and make it happen. And when it's finished
you can step back and say "hey I did that and it looks great!", or you can sit back and let me
take care of it for you and you can say, "thank God that's finally done."
